Abstract
Cognitive impairments and behavioral changes of progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) have been well-characterized. However, the comorbidity of PSP and progressive non-fluent aphasia (PNFA) has not been reported in Korea. We report a 79-yr-old man who presented with symptoms of PNFA followed subsequently by clinical features of PSP. The patient¡¯s language disorders was characterized by marked decreased fluency, agrammatism, start hesitation, neurogenic stuttering but relatively preserved comprehension. The clinical manifestations suggestive of PSP included parkinsonism, frequent falls, and vertical gaze limitation. Bran MRI showed prominent midbrain atrophy along with diffused cortical atrophy
